The Art Images Collection includes images of archeological sites, buildings, sculpture, paintings, and other art works from prehistory through the 21st century. A constantly growing resource, the collection currently contains 9676 images chosen to support the daily teaching and research needs of Willamette University faculty and students, in particular those in the fields of Art History and Studio Art.
All images in this collection are licensed to Willamette University or otherwise acquired in manner consistent with Visual Resource Association image acquisition guidelines. The images are to be used for personal research, study, and teaching and may not be distributed or published in print, electronic, or other formats for access outside of the Willamette University educational setting.
The Academic Commons image collections are shared resources that will evolve over time. Additional image collections will be created as required by the community. Contact Michael Spalti for more information about starting a new image collection.
